Senior Product Manager — CommsTech @ Depop, Lisa Feizlmayr

Welcome from Me
And a warm welcome to 2025, you bodacious babes! I took a little break from the podcast in January — a wee gift from me to me, haha.
We’re kicking off the new year with the fabulous Lisa from Depop. Lisa and I met through a mutual friend, Libby, from my Domino Records days (who, fun fact, was our very first podcast guest!). The last time Lisa and I caught up, I was medium pregnant and soaking in the magic of HAIM at Victoria Park in London during the summer of 2023 — and what a truly special gig that was.
We talk about:
- K-pop, which quickly transitions to me singing 911…
- When we recorded, Lisa had just transitioned into a Project Manager role at Depop. The product in this case is Comms Tech (Depop is a second-hand fashion marketplace — Consumer to Consumer (C2C)).
- The importance of being harmony-focused in meetings, aiming for good outcomes, and ensuring discussions are fact-based.
- Drawing or mapping out thoughts or processes to visually share ideas, gather input, and refine together, rather than presenting a perfect finished product.
- People being less inclined to tear apart something in front of you if it’s not overly polished.

- Regular activities include ongoing projects, building out a broader strategy, and visualising visions via FigJam (e.g. mapping the current flow, envisioning the future state, identifying opportunities to bridge the gap). This evolves into an opportunity tree, then actionable plans for the team.
- The strategy is a living document, continuously refined.
- Assists the CRM team with queries due to her prior experience.
- Troubleshoots, plans meetings, discusses, and collaborates with various teams — lots of communication and coordination.
