TUNE.

TUNE is a TV and online platform, created by Lori and Ally McCrea, to capture Scotland’s passion for live music across all genres. With an aim to Champion artists and genres that are not necessarily talked about in mainstream media and reflecting what people are listening to in Scotland.

✨ The main TUNE production team is all female and they do a lot of self-shooting by the team and they edit on Premiere.

✨ Two slots a month on iPlayer (live sessions, gigs, documentaries, and stories) and have recorded with The Vaccines, Chvrches, Lewis Capaldi (took him up a hill in Bathgate for the pilot session) and filmed with new artist with Lizzi Reid, Zoe Graham, Peat & Diesel (from Stornaway)

Filmed by a production company called Forest of Black

Director Oscar Sansom @OscarSansom

Presented by Kerr Okan frontman of The Lafontaines

Advice.

The only way to learn is to do it

✨ Identify what kind of programs you want to make and understand what you are driven by and approach those people/ independent production companies (go through credits). Think: What do I want to make? What do I want to say?

✨ You do not need to be a specialist

✨ There are no shortcuts, be open to opportunities, as you never know where you are going to end up
